Playing is a lovely way to learn and change. We're built to play, and we're built by play. Play makes discoveries out of ideas, lets you delight in change, lets you explore in relative safety. Play opens your mind.
Play doesn't lend itself to a syllabus or to repeatable learning objectives – this is a problem for some. It suits me fine.
I keep building things to play with – and I've started to think of myself as, and advertise myself as, a toymaker.
